Dati pangarap ko lang toh (before this was just my dream)
. But by God's grace, on March 28, 2013 it became a reality. My trip to Anawangin Cove in Zambales with my co-workers was an unforgettable one.

From Olongapo City, we ride a bus bound for Iba, Zambales and drop off at San Antonio. The travel time from Olongapo to San Antonio is more or less an hour. From San Antonio we board in a motor boat. Since we are twelve all in all, we rented three motor boats that took us more or less half an hour travel to Anawangin.

All the travel hassles from Manila to Olongapo the night before was erased when we finally set foot on the shores on Anawangin. The view is breath-taking, a real beauty of nature that speaks of how great and wonderful is the Creator for this marvelous work of art. And since we are all excited, we didn't waste time and took as many pictures as we can.
Halos lahat ata ng anggulo ng lugar pinicturan namin.hahaha! (We took pictures on almost every angle of the place). We didn't get tired exploring the inside and outside of the cove.

After having lunch, we walked towards Northern part of the island for a swim. The common seashores are already crowded with
bakasyunistas/turistas (tourists). So we take an effort to go to the further side with lesser people. And we find a very cool spot to plunge ourselves into the refreshing sea water.

Without having second thoughts, we follow the trail we saw that led us to the mountain top area. By the time I reached the top, I was breathless...not just because of the difficulty in climbing but more of the beautiful scenery that was so vivid before my eyes.

it's noon day time.so we have umbrella. good thing i was able to spread Banana Boat SPF50+ Sun Block all over my body to protect my skin. tiis ganda toh in fairness haha!
If only we have tent set with us, we could have stayed overnight. An entrance fee of P100 is required if you guys, gonna have an overnight stay there. Most of the people I saw there build their tents in various sizes and shapes. There were families, co-workers gathering, dabarkadz groups camping out in chosen areas in Anawangin. I think of Creezy, it would be fun if he's with me on that moment. Too bad he's not a travelling type-of-a-guy. But it's okay. I have my cool and funny friends with me though. The experience is so unforgettable. I enjoyed alot and had so much fun. And it cost me almost nothing since our host, Kuya Ronald of PCBS Olongapo branch is so generous and accomodating. I'm thumbs up when it comes to his hospitality. Da best ka talaga Kuya! You're the best bro!
@ Capones Island
Capones Island is half an hour travel from Anawangin. few visit this place because the waves in this sea area are quiet rough . Maalon talaga kaya nakakatakot din mag biyahe lalo na kung di ka marunong lumangoy haha! But by the grace of God we had a safe and sound travel to and fro.
I'm looking forward to more adventures with this group of friends I got. Kuya Ronald told us if they got another award/prize next year, our next destination is Bataan. Whoa! I'm excited for that. Goodbye for now Anawangin, one day God be willing I'm gonna see you again. With my family. I'm just hoping she's still beautiful from the day I left her until the day I come back.
